MECHANISM DIGITAL, New York, NY May 2021 – May 2023          

Lead Art Director
Directed visual storytelling, streamlined VFX workflows, and played a pivotal role in the success of acclaimed films and brand campaigns.

  • Creative Project Leadership:
      • Spearheaded post-production for projects including films, TV, interactive, and web/social media.
      • Developed motion graphics, characters, environments, and logos utilizing 2D and 3D software.
      • Conceptualized visuals, pitch decks, mood boards, and templates that aligned with brand visions.
  • Freelancer Management and VFX Supervision:
      • Managed up to five freelancers, ensuring adherence to quality guidelines for VFX in five feature films.
      • Onboarded VFX Compositors and prepared workflow for streamlining 100+ shots for 4K/8K films.

TURBO DOG PRODUCTIONS, New York, NY June 2014 – May 2022          

Art Director – Edit/Animation
Oversaw the creative production for broadcast and advertising projects on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and ad agencies. Served as the point person in liaising with clients and conducting in-house review sessions. 

  • Created broadcast spots, animatics, print ads, and corporate presentations in major markets.
  • Managed an eight-member team, delegated assignments to animators/editors, and oversaw their progress to meet the demand for multiple monthly projects. 
  • Created a permanent 3D pipeline to track assets to meet the increased demand for 3D animated projects. 
  • Played an instrumental role in reducing the average project turnaround timelines from four weeks to two weeks.

    • Winner 61st Annual NY Emmys – Best Promotion: Promo – Sports. “The Judge” for YES Network

TRIBUNE/WPIX-11, New York, NY February 2013 – January 2014          

Creative Director
Cooperated with Ad Agencies to create on-air promos, news graphics, and visual content for sports, talk shows, and commercials. Turbo Dog Productions was founded as a result of the internal department’s success. 

  • Coordinated production tasks with producers and fellow animators/editors to ship out multiple concurrent projects per month. 
  • Notable brand projects included AB/InBev, Unilever, and Burger King.

 

ANIMATED STORYBOARDS, INC., New York, & Bangkok, Thailand May 2008 – January 2013          

3D Animation Director
Undertook a major initiative to improve and reorganize the Bangkok office’s 3D department on behalf of the largest independent worldwide animatic agency. 

  • Managed a 15-person staff by evaluating workload distribution, assigning deadlines, and tracking progress. 
  • Helped the company shift from 2D Animation to 3D Animation for animatic products. This increased client demand worldwide which led to the opening of additional global offices.
  • Consulted with the R&D Department based in the Tel Aviv office to install Motion Capture studio, developing the pipeline and best practices for artists. 
  • Assisted in building task-tracking spreadsheets which reduced paper waste. 
  • Memorable campaigns include E-Trade Talking Baby, Nutella, Coca-Cola, AB/InBev, and Centrum.

Owner/Operator
Work closely with clients on social video campaigns, TV advertisements, print production and web design.

  • Manage the administration of the business, including sales, accounting, production, and fulfillment. 
  • Recruit freelance camera operators, sound engineers, and line producers for on-site production.
