Advocacy Campaign
The visual package for Artists Against Optimum was created with the intention of raising awareness about the negative impact of Optimum’s business practices on artists and their livelihoods. The videos produced for social media and broadcast were designed to be attention-grabbing and emotionally impactful, featuring interviews with affected artists and footage of their work. The print ads were strategically placed in newspapers throughout New York City to reach a wide audience.
The campaign was successful in generating buzz and support for the cause, with many people sharing the videos on social media and contacting Optimum to express their concerns. As a result, Optimum made changes to their policies that were more favorable to artists, demonstrating the power of advocacy through effective visual communication.
Overall, designing a full visual package for an advocacy group requires careful consideration of the target audience, messaging, and desired outcomes. By creating compelling visuals that resonate with viewers, it is possible to inspire action and effect change.
